How HealthDri Works

The key to the effectiveness of the HealthDri product is its unique and patented moisture management panel in the crotch area of either the men’s brief or the ladies panty. Please refer to the accompanying illustration to help visualize the way this works.

As you can see, the product is designed in several layers. The ultra-soft stay dry liner, the layer closest to the body, has been specifically chosen to allow moisture to pass through quickly, getting it away from the body and promoting the skin.

Directly behind this, located in the area most likely to receive the most moisture, is the moisture transport insert. Acting like a wick, it allows one way movement of liquid away from the body, further enhancing the skin dying process.

Working in conjunction with the moisture transparent insert, is additional wicking fabric. This captures the overflow from the moisture transparent insert and aids in moving the liquid to the absorbent layers beyond. The absorbent layers are designed to capture the moisture. The number of layers varies depending on the level of incontinence protection required.

Finally, the absorbent layers are covered by a breathable outer shield, this shield prevents liquids from penetrating to clothing, yet allows the moisture trapped in the absorbent layer to evaporate. The gradual evaporation allows the garment to dry and dissipates odor.
